Etymology[]

Unofficial name. Unnamed by characters.

Description[]

Awakened hunt led by Audrey.

History[]

In cold open of Scene 68, Audrey's hunt sits on the body of a dead Awakened Being. Rachel tells the hunt captain, Audrey, about the failed Dabi hunt. And how the hunt members were mysteriously rescued by persons unknown. Rachel sardonically suggests the ghosts of the Battle of the North.[2]

Ghosts[]

The seven Ghosts journey south of Alfons. Miria asks Tabitha to scan the area for Yoma energy. Tabitha discovers four Claymore warriors, who she suspects just finished an Awakened hunt.[3]

Riful[]

Riful greets the hunt.[4]

Audrey introduces herself as No. 3. And Rachel as No. 5. Audrey proceeds to use Gentle Sword on Riful, while Rachel uses Strong Sword.[5]

Riful's game[]

She continues to toy with the warriors.[6]

Mock battle[]

Rachel, with her sword, appears to split Riful's body.

As Rachel continues striking, Audrey attacks Riful's "wound." But Riful's split sections prove to be her true form—not something created from sword blows.[7]

Riful tires of the game and impales Rachel then entangles Audrey.[8]

Ghosts' arrival[]

Four Ghosts knock unconscious the other two hunt members, then rescue Audrey and Rachel.[9]

While three Ghosts flee with their rescuees, one Ghost stays behind, much to Riful's surprise—Clare.[10]
