In the anime version, Rafaela finds the remains of Former Single-digit in Gonahl.^[2]

After Clare leaves Ilena's hidden valley, Rafaela approaches Ilena from behind. Rafaela announces that the Organization has condemned Ilena to death for desertion.^[3]

Rafaela presumably executes Ilena. Deep in a forest, Clare senses something strange in Ilena's arm,^[4] but her thoughts are interrupted by the awakened Ophelia.^[5]
