Etymology[]

Black card mission is unnamed by the characters.

History[]

Hilda's black card is sent to Miria via Ophelia. However, Ophelia tears it up and condemns Hilda to become an awakened being.^[2]

The black card mission never takes place and an Awakened hunt occurs instead. Ophelia is the hunt captain.^[3]

In the anime, this hunt is led by Miria, in which Ophelia is an interloper who comes on the scene as Miria awakens.

During the Claymore rebellion, while Miria combats Hysteria, Miria reminisce about "Ophelia's plan" to kill both Hilda and herself.^[4]
