HistoryEdit

Paburo MountainsEdit

After death of the Paburo awakened, Miria confesses how she awakened during a past hunt.[3]

7-year timeskipEdit

During a rainy night, the Helen come across a lost Claymore sword. Miria recognizes the owner's symbol.[4]

FlashbackEdit

Daytime. In the aftermath of Hilda's hunt, the team captain, Hilda, compliments Miria's performance. The two friends vow to work together again.[5]

PhantomEdit

Another day. From afar, a Man in Black, Ermita, observes Miria destroy a Yoma pack.

He notes Miria's "Phantom" technique. Also watching is warrior No. 4, Ophelia. Though part of the hunt, she refuses to participate as no awakened is present.[6]

Mountain battlegroundEdit
MangaEdit

Miria is now part of a new hunt. Led by Ophelia, who speaks of a warrior who gave Ophelia a black card. But instead of giving it to the unnamed recipient, Ophelia tore it up.[7]

On a mountain, the hunt engages the awakened, mummy-like with tape-shaped tentacles. Ophelia disables the limbs, while Miria finally beheads the mummy. Miria realizes the awakened's identity—Hilda.[8]

In her grief, Miria awakens, with Ophelia waiting to kill her. Years later, Miria remembers Ophelia's plot—to awaken and kill both Hilda and Miria.[9]

AnimeEdit
Prelude to hunt not shown. Miria attacks rooster-like awakened being. Miria disables limbs, then is about to deliver the coup de grace. But the awakened reverts to her human form—Hilda's. Grieving, Miria nearly awakens, with Ophelia waiting to kill her.[10]
