Etymology[]

Unofficial translation. 感知 translates as "sensing," "perception."

Description[]

Baseline that determines detection of Yoma power of Yoma entities, including Claymore warriors.

High baseline can result in ability to align and control Yoma power in target. Yoma power release can temporarily decrease baseline performance.

High baseline can result in ability to align and control Yoma power in target. But even a low baseline can detect Yoma entities, provided target does not suppress or control Yoma power.

Dangers[]

Controlling Yoma power release with high sensing baseline, rather than high mental baseline, can still result in awakening, as in the case of Priscilla.

In the case of Clare's Quicksword, her Preemptive Sensing improvises for her low mental baseline. But Yoma power release is isolated to Ilena's arm.
