Etymology[]
シーレ transliterates from "Schiele," from the medieval German schel (wild or clamorous). The village appears and is named only in the anime.[4]
"Schiele" and the village of "Egon" may allude to Austrian Expressionist painter, Egon Schiele (1890–1918). Pronounced "she-uh" or "she-le" in German
Description[]
Town near Mount Shire. Town and mountain in western Lautrec. See world map for approximate location.
History[]
Clare and Raki leave the town of Egon[5] and travel to Shire.[6]
In anime, Clare attempts to drop off Raki at inn, before rendezvous with her best friend, Elena, who sent Clare a black card[7]
