Etymology[]
Awakened unnamed by characters in the manga. Variants of the "tapeworm" name appears on forums and fan-sites. Originated on A Product of Wasted Time review[2] of Scene 131, 1 October 2012.

Shoulder-length dark hair and shift dress.[3]
Awakened[]
Resembles a pile of tapeworm segments. Pile bristles with dozens of armless torsos, each identical—only one contains the vital organs. Torsos resemble tailless mermaids with blonde hair.
Foreheads of the torsos bears either a dual skin marking or barbell jewelry.[4]
Personality[]
Aggressive when attacked. Underestimates the fighting ability of the Ghosts. Member of Octavia's party.

Unknown type. Having no Organization datasheet in the "Yoma War Record," her ability and baselines are unknown. Appears to have a high strength baseline.
Technique[]
Awakened uses tapeworm-shaped tentacles to attack.[5] According to Tabitha, the awakened's Yoma aura is spread evenly among the torsos, decoying the torso containing the vital organs.[6]
Actual mobility unknown.
History[]
Rabona[]
Twin towers explode in Rabona. Inside each tower, a female awakened recovers from being hurled back by the Destroyer–Priscilla combat.
The towers burst apart as they awakened into huge tapeworm- and origami bird-like forms.[7]

Miria and Clare[]
While Deneve and her comrades confront the Origami awakened, Miria and Clare dodge Tapeworm's attack.
Miria and Clare race to find the vital core. They hack apart every torso, only to miss the vital torso.
Clare realizes her movements are those of Rafaela. Miria and Clare reach the last torso and together they make the final strike, killing the awakened.[8]
