Sutafu[]

Challenge[]

One half of the Northern Army, 11 awakened beings, advance southeast.[10]

At Organization Headquarters, Men in Black and Galatea await the invasion. Galatea then spots a Claymore warrior in an unusual black uniform.[11]

Both then Galatea see two identical warriors in black armor. Galatea realizes they must be warriors No. 1 and 2, Alicia and Beth. Rubel confirms her guess that they are identical twin sisters.[12]

The twins confront the Northern Army. The apparent leader, the Lobster awakened, challenges the twins.[13]

Surprise[]

On commmand, Alicia changes into a winged awakened, with numerous sharp appendages. Beth remains her human form, while apparently meditating. Alicia proceeds to destroy Lobster. She proceeds to attack the other awakeneds.[14]

Galatea speculates that a "Controlled Awakening" technique is being used.[15]

Explanation[]

Rubel confirms her suspicions, explaining how the twins were trained from infancy to share one mind—in short, a two-person Claymore warrior. Neither twin has any individuality left.[16]

Galatea is left appalled.[17]

Lautrec[]

12 members of the Northern Army confront Dauf. The apparent leader, Flame-hair awakened, thinks the army is more powerful.[18]

Dauf fires a Yoma rod through Flame-hair's head. Riful suddenly attacks. As Riful and Dauf proceed to kill all of them, Riful implies that Isley deliberately sent them into a death-trap.[19]

Mucha[]

Isley alone confronts Luciela of the South. She accuses him of splitting his "allies" into weaker groups, which Riful and the Organization easily annihilated. Isley admits the truth of this. He dislikes sharing.[20]
