Cold open[]
In the village of Ticelli, Priscilla tells Raki of a massive awakening. She calls it a "Messenger of despair for this world."[7]
Soliloquy[]
Riful speaks figuratively to the missing Renée. She realizes now that Renée would have been killed if she remained inside the castle.[8]
Ghosts[]
Rescue[]
Deneve and Helen race toward Clare's aura, despite the massive Yoma energy of the unknown awakened entity.[9]
Healing Yuma[]
Cynthia notices that Deneve and Helen have released their Yoma energy. She orders Yuma to release her Yoma energy to speed the regeneration of her leg.[10]
Clare[]
Somewhere inside the awakened Luciela x Rafaela lurks Clare. Clare's naked body emerges from the sea of Yoma tissue. Rafaela's last act as a human being is to return Clare's Claymore sword and clothes.[11]
Rafaela's last act
Above Clare, the sky-high entity resembles a demonic parody of the twin goddesses of love, Teresa and Clare.[12]
The thing[]
Deneve observes the awakened being and senses its massive aura. Helen cuts short Cynthia's healing session and races toward "the thing," Deneve leading. Elsewhere, Yuma has regenerated a new leg.[13]
Abyss Feeders[]
As Riful observes the awakened being, Dauf warns her to avoid contact. They suddenly notice Abyss Feeders attacking them. Despite destroying their bodies, the Feeders keep regenerating.[14]
Alicia and Beth land before them. The warriors announce themselves as "Abyss Hunters" (深淵狩り Shin'en kari). And that their target is Riful.[15]
