EtymologyEdit

Armor unnamed by characters in manga and anime.

DescriptionEdit

Spaulders Speaker are dish-like plates that directly cover the shoulders and shield the upper arms. Held together with the sword carrier by a buckle that fastens at the throat.

Most warriors wear three layers of spaulders. A smaller number of warriors, such as Clare[1] and Teresa,[2] wear two layers. Possibly due to the weight, the less powerful warriors such as Elena[3] and Matilda[4] can only wear one layer.
