HistoryEdit

Site of Toriro hunt.

An awakened hunt run into a young woman being pursued by a Yoma. The hunt leader, Miria, cuts off his skullcap.[10] The woman tells the warriors that another Claymore is fighting alone in Toriro. Miria, Queenie and one unnamed warrior, rush into town.[11]

Scene 025a
Clare and Raki in Toriro

There, they confront Clare, who already killed five Yoma on her own (four in anime), despite possible presence of a "Voracious Eater."[12]

Queeine scolds Clare for disobeying orders, but is held in check by Miria. Clare learns later that Voracious Eaters are awakened beings.[13]

Despite their later friendship, this first impression makes Miria mistrustful of Clare, even after the 7-year timeskip.[14]

Later, Rubel sends Clare to unnamed town west of Toriro, where she joins the Paburo hunt, also led by Miria.[15]
